Terms of service

What we do

We review the medical bills you send us, point out likely errors and overcharges, and gives you a game plan: steps, a phone script, and an email or letter template. You make the calls and send the letters.

What we don't do

• We do not act on your behalf. We never contact providers, insurers or Medicare for you, and we never dispute or negotiate for you.
• We are not a law firm, and nothing we provide is legal advice.
• We are not your insurer or Medicare.

Refer a friend

• You and a friend who joins with your link each get one free month of the $29 plan.
• The friend's month is granted only after they join the paid plan with a card on file. A free first bill alone does not qualify.
• Your month is granted once you also have an active paid plan with a card on file. Until then it stays pending.
• One referral credit per friend. You can't refer yourself, and family helpers on your account can't be referred as new members.
• Free months have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged.
• Free months start only when the paid plan launches. We may change or end the referral program at any time; months already granted stay granted.

No guaranteed results

Billing offices and insurers decide whether to change a bill. Any Medicare amount we show is an estimate only. Always check our findings against your own bill and records.

Price and billing

• Your first bill review is free, including your scripts. No card needed.
• After that, the plan is $29 per month, tax included, billed monthly by our payment processor. Nothing is added on top at checkout.
• Family helpers you invite are free. Helpers can see your bills and send bills to your account; those bills count toward your free first bill or your plan. Helpers do not get a free bill or account benefits of their own unless they subscribe separately.
• Cancel any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't give partial refunds for unused time unless the law requires it.

Your account

• Only send bills that are yours, or bills you have permission to send.
• Keep access to your email safe. Anyone who can open your login emails can open your account.
• Don't misuse the service, try to break it, or upload anything that isn't a bill.

Your data

We delete your original bill photos and PDFs 90 days after your game plan is ready. You can delete all your data any time with the Delete my data button. See our Privacy policy.

Limits on our responsibility

The service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, Bill Review Coach, LLC is not responsible for amounts you pay or owe on any bill, or for decisions made by providers or insurers. If we are found responsible for something, our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a big change, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
